Engineering Internship: 2021

IMG_7341.JPG

In March 2021, I did a virtual engineering internship with Tom Fetter. I learned a lot about raspberry pi’s, high powered rocketry, machine learning, and how cameras detect and understand objects and color. This internship was independent and a team effort, as it was split into two parts. The presentation below is what I presented to my school (as part of our internship program, a graduation requirement), and it includes an overview and photographs of the internship. I loved working with Tom, he was so helpful in helping me better understand the technology I was using. This internship was pretty much the only engineering experience I had in my junior year, since I was virtual almost all school year, and it really helped remind me why I love engineering so much, even though it was very difficult to work online instead of in Mr. Fetter’s makers space.
